Upstate New York teems with history, much of which is well documented. Some of its history, however, is of the darker kind…the kind you won’t read about in text books.
Angelene was a strange woman, disfigured and reclusive. When she came to town, people would talk. “A crazy old witch” they would call her. Was she a witch? Or was she simply a misunderstood old spinster.
This short audio play was originally produced as an entry in Branded in the 80’s 2007 Halloween audio contest. The Witch of Saratoga took home first place and a prize package chock full of great stuff.
