Regaldale and the mighty Castle Regal is under attack by hordes of undead creatures under the command of a lich by the name of The Soul Drinker. Can Hazgil, Spagon and Tegina stop him before he claims his prize?
Our adventurers sort through the ashes of the recent attack on Regaldale and formulate a plan to stop the lich. Spagon and the others set out on a trek to the mountains to enlist the help of a mysterious entity.
Spagon explains the object of his mysterious quest, a legendary monster hunter named Kane. Meanwhile, Hazgil finds wisdom among the flames…
Spagon, Hazgil and Tegina meet the legendary Kane at last, but will he and can he help them in their fight against the Soul Drinker? After a long confinement in his prison, Kane is not the mighty warrior he once was…and there’s more to him than meets the eye.
Spagon, Hazgil, and Tegina, joined by their new ally Kane, make their way to the village of Willow Glen to regroup and resupply only to be greeted by a mass exodus of the village’s inhabitants. A village constable warns the adventurers to turn back with an ominous warning of terrible things to come.
While Kane falls further and further into torment as his vampiristic side breaks through, Spagon, Tegina, and Hazgil learn of the mythical Galbraeth Brotherhood and how they figure into the Soul Drinker’s plans. Armed with this new information, they prepare for a confrontation with the lich.
Hazgil receives another visit from the spirit realm offering him guidance on his quest.
Spagon, Tegina and Hazgil are joined on their quest by an old ally who reveals that Hazgil has a very important pedigree. Meanwhile, the identity of the mysterious ‘Lost Soul’ is finally revealed.
Much is revealed as Hazgil’s power over the amulet grows, and with the guidance of Angar, he must now face his destiny as the Archivescovo of the church of Bompodor.
